My Gyro wig came in today!

Just about done with Rufioh! Just need to do a makeup test and a few more touchups and that’s it.

If I am the world’s best Rufioh will get to meet Dante Basco?

Dear other Rufioh cosplayers, guess whose Rufioh wig is coming along? You had better be ready for this. 

I had initially just sewn in wefts to a black Jett wig from arda but my products werent cutting it when it came to holding it in place. I learned there was a beauty school by my house and they had a ton of fun helping me keep the mohawk spikes stuck up in place. It needs some trimming and a bit more fixing but I got some heavy duty sprays holding it up and thats all that matters for now

Well the horns are finally mountable, I tested them out on my John wig. For those curious how I did it, I more or less followed this video. The glossy look is due to the fact that I sealed them with jewelry resin instead of mod podge, to make them a little bit more heady duty. For the life of me I can’t align them.

Almost finished with my Rufioh horns. For those curious they’re just made out of sanded floral foam covered in Crayola Model magic that was then sanded, Gesso’d, and painted. Soon I plan to seal them in jewelry resin and attach them to a hairband via screws and a wall mount.

It is very hard to take a picture of yourself with wings but few things matter when your are a fairy as pretty as I. This is a work in progress, so of course more to come later as I prepare for Ikkicon.
