How much are you selling the masks for? I will definitely come pick one up!
The masks and the paints weren’t too expensive but they took a great deal of time to carve and color properly so I need to charge proportionate to the work I put into them.
They are probably going to go for $25 but they are very sturdy, scuff resistant, and comfortable to wear and see in. You can pick one up at my Artists Alley booth at Akon. I’m not sure where it is so be on the lookout.

I already make jokes like this normally. You can bet I will continue this habit doubly so while cosplaying.
Working on my brother’s Doc Scratch cosplay. The head was a gigantic pain to cut into but its almost done!
What’s thiiiis? An improved Amon mask next to my original mask? Next to a dollar sign of all things. What could that mean for Akon?
Working on a Vrillyhoo for my brother today. I probably wont be God Tier John until Afest so he’s borrowing it after I finish it in time for Akon. The shape came out well just by cutting out, sanding, and glueing foam and other shaped objects. The paper mache/paperclay part is not as fun. Its out in the sun right now and hopefully I can sand it and add enough layers to make it smooth. Thats all I really want out of it.
Okay so here are a few (somewhat) higher quality pictures with more progress on the shoulder pads. I do have some black stage makeup that I actually took the time to put on this time so for those who were suggesting, there you go. I have a black turtleneck coming in and the knee pads are drying, but other than those and the shoes I am pretty much done. I’ll go into detail as to my exact methods for making all this soon.
I had done a little on the mask and on the shoulder pads before but everything else was done just today. Still needs a great deal of work but so far so good.
